Microsoft is already working on the next generation of Windows 10

Windows 10 is a fundamental change from Microsoft's previous practice of developing and releasing operating systems for client and server devices.
Windows as a Service changes the development and release model by publishing a continuous stream of operating system updates to the operating system versus publishing feature updates as service packs or individual updates.
Microsoft releases two feature updates per year that present changes, new features, and improvements to Windows 10 devices. Updates are sent to Windows Insider devices first before being pushed to home use devices and later to devices that have Pro or Enterprise versions of Windows 10.
A recent announcement by Synaptics, called suggests that Microsoft is already working on a next-generation operating system (noted by Günter Born).
The press release does not reveal much about Microsoft's Next-Generation operating system except that it will support Enterprise-Grade Biometric PC Security and that Microsoft seems to be working on a "biometric security OS" that includes Windows Hello, knowing gHacks.
This statement leaves many unanswered questions. Microsoft revealed in 2015 that Windows 10 would be the latest operating system, but it simply meant that Microsoft would not release a Windows 360 three years after the overall availability.
The upcoming Microsoft system may be a reference for a future version of Windows 10 that Microsoft is developing. Given that AMD-based laptops, powered by Ryzen Mobile and Windows Hello, are mentioned in the press release, this seems to be true.
